In Baghdad a journalist threw not one, but two shoes at president George W. Bush in an attempt to express the feelings and ambitions of the Iraqi people toward the symbol of tyranny. Muntadhar al-Zeidi actions have earned him hero status in the Arab world, but he could face up to two years in prison.

If you have seen the video it is quite amazing that not only did he throw one shoe but had enough time to take off the other and throw that one to before getting tackled by Bush’s S.S.  I call no harm no foul. Since Bush did not actually get hit Muntadhar should be let go. I mean come on who hasn’t wanted at one point in time wanted to throw something at Bush, god knows he deserves it.  Props to Bush for dodging the bullet, or as it was, shoes.

I wonder if Muntadhar got his shoes back or if they are keeping them for evidence? Maybe Bush got to keep them as a momento, maybe he’s wearing them right now. Thank’s for the free shoes, even though they might not fit.

Here’s a thought on how to get out of the recession, put Bush in a dunk tank and have every person in America pay a dollar to throw their shoe. I think this would be a good way to stimulate the economy.
